ANITA SPEAR



Director





Anita Spear earned her degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology from Community College of RI. She attended Providence College and The University of Rhode Island for continuing education credits. Anita’s initial work experience was held at Brown University Preschool and extends over 25 years of teaching and directing. Anita joined St. Andrew’s in 2013. Anita resides in Clinton.



TINA PHELAN



Admin and Operations Assistant





Tina Phelan joined St. Andrew's in 2014. Tina has two children who previously attended our program here at St. Andrew's. Tina is full of enthusiasm and excitement. Prior to St. Andrew's, she was a stay at home mom. She lives here in town with her family. Tina is CPR and First Aid certified. She is a State Certified paraprofessional.



TERRY CRANS



Young Learners Teacher





Terry Crans joined St. Andrew's in 2006. She earned her Associates of Science Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Liberal Arts and continues to take courses in Early Childhood Development. She is CPR and First Aid certified. Terry is the Young Learners Teacher.



JOANNE WOOD



Teacher





JoAnne Wood joined our faculty as an assistant in 2015, after being a Stay-at-Home Mom for 8 years. She resides in Madison, with her husband and two sons.. She majored in Travel and Tourism at Sullivan College and was a Resort Manager for 17 years, in her hometown of East Hampton, N.Y. She loves working with children and we are thrilled to have her! JoAnne is CPR and First Aid certified.



KELLIE GUTH



Teacher





Kellie Guth resides in Clinton, CT, where she shares her life with her husband and four children: Maddie, Hannah, Ella, and Ryan. She graduated from Quinnipiac University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Kellie served as an X-ray technician for nearly 20 years before joining us at St. Andrew's in 2021. Her positive spirit, coupled with her strong work ethic and genuine care for others, make Kellie Guth a remarkable individual and an inspiring presence in both her professional and personal life. Kellie is CPR and First Aid certified.



NANCI DUPUIS



Teacher





Nanci Dupuis joined St. Andrew’s in 2019 after years as a stay at home mom. She lives in Madison with her husband, dog & two children that went through our program. Nanci is a certified Kids Yoga Instructor and began teaching yoga in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Early Childhood, Childhood and Special Education from Iona College located in her home town of New Rochelle, NY.



Hannah selmani



Teacher





Hannah Selmani is a dedicated and passionate educator currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at Southern CT State University. Residing in Hamden, she shares her home with three feline companions - Sophie, Groucho, Lily Flemish - and a delightful rabbit named Thor. Hannah's journey at St. Andrew's began in 2021, where she brings her enthusiasm to the classroom. Her commitment to the safety and well-being of her students is evident through her First Aid and CPR certifications. Beyond her academic pursuits, Hannah fosters a nurturing environment where students can thrive and explore their potential.



Christine fitzpatrick



Teacher





Christine Fitzpatrick is excited to be joining St. Andrew's School. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She holds a Master's in Elementary Education and has been dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young students. Christine is a proud mom of three, lives in town with her husband, kids, and their beloved dog, Maple. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and finding new ways to engage her students in creative and meaningful learning experiences.
